V.Srivastava
Professor in the area of Finance and Accounts at IIM Lucknow. He is a MBA, PhD and a visiting Doctoral Fellow at the Helsinki School of Economics under a scholarship by the European Union. His primary research areas are Project Finance, Corporate Banking and Credit Risk Management. He has conducted more than 120 specialized training programs for Banks based in India, South Asia, Central Europe and Africa. He was also an Advisor to Axis Bank Corporate Banking and Project Finance Group. He has handled consulting assignment for IFC Washington and ADB Manila on Sustainable Lending, besides giving consulting and training support to RBI, Large Public Sector banks, Centre for Banking Studies, Central Bank of Srilanka and Bangladesh Bank. He has coauthored a text book on Project Finance published by Oxford University Press, besides publications in International Journals and articles in Financial dailies.

Primary consulting areas include credit risk model building and Loan policy documentation. He was an Advisor –Project Finance and Corporate Banking, Axis Bank Ltd. to write their Policy Manual for Infrastructure Finance Business. Reporting to President and Sr. V.P. He has handled consultancy assignment for Reserve Bank of India on “Corporate Governance in Selected UCB’s”. Successfully completed a consultancy assignment of Bangladesh Bank IPFF Cell (Central Bank of Bangladesh) – World Bank on PPP Projects and Infrastructure development in Bangladesh. Working on a consultancy assignment with Agriculture Research Foundation on PPP Projects and Financing Infrastructure. Conducted an assignment on Organizational Review and Restructuring of Abhyudaya Cooperative Bank, Mumbai. Worked on Manpower Assessment of Bank of India. Involves visit to 11 zones and 100 branches of the bank. Report accepted by CMD.
