He is a B.Tech Mechanical from IIT Kanpur alongwith Finance and operations management from IIM Calcutta. Mr. Chandra started his career with Uptron India Limited, a PSU of Government of UP. Later on he became GM with Lohia Starlinger Ltd and at the zenith of his career he became MD of Schenck Rotec India Ltd. From where he got retired in the year 2012.

He has expertise and rich exposure in the following areas:

1. Handling turnarounds at two separate companies, and putting them on the growth path.
2. Extensive experience of various aspects of operations management such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, and Product Development
3. Preparing and implementing Balance Scorecards in organizations
4.  Project Management, Process Re-Engineering and Process Management
5.  In-depth knowledge of Statistical Thinking and its application in solving managerial problems
